I vote for separate corporate identities and a common color scheme.
A Spanish named company in Mexico, KCS north to KC or Chicago and CP north of there.
KCS of Mexico spelled in English is a marketing fopaux worse than CP’s dual flag scheme.
FMN reporting mark is available Ferrocarriles de Mexico e Norte.
The KCS southern belle scheme is striking, but it would be cheaper to paint the engines red.
