Thanks Bob . I had to look up Atlas shrugged because I had never heard the term. I try to keep the subject focused on railroading. PSR (the original subject) has nothing to do with precision scheduled railroading. Its classic double-talk. When the title becomes Biden Bolsheviks strategy we are no longer talking about trains ,it's about ANGRY politics. Anyway I would think the way the Biden administration is leaning and from what the current head of the STB has said the STB will end up doing more to enforce the regulations that the class 1 railroads have taken advantage of. I have friends currently working for UP. They tell me PSR is not working and at some point we are going back to more traditional railroading . Shorter trains , more crews. I hope they are right.
