I spoke to Trigger the other day and he's looking forward to coming back to AP. He understands how David had to take some drastic action because things were just getting too wild and crazy toward the end----some of it his doing, but certainly not all of it. He feels the 30-day suspension was not unreasonable and, since drastic times require drastic measures, something had to be done to slow down or stop the runaway train that was thrown into "run 8" on a downgrade by other participants who felt a need to make matters worse by fraudulently posting as people they weren't and bringing up subject matter that was, in general, disgusting, icky and pretty much obscene.
He realized that he could have circumvented the ban on AP by using other IP addresses and identities, but he chose not to. The 30-day break had some of it's own good characteristics, for him as well as for others. He said that, though he hasn't posted anything for 30 days, he's occasionally "lurked" and was amused that several people were hand wringing and having anxiety attacks over the prospect of him making a re-appearance. It's as if they had a calendar and were marking off each day as the "day of reinstatement" drew closer. He mentioned a discussion DEC 10 at 19:58. And there's this one.
He said that, while he was in the cornfield, he ran into some guy who appeared to be from some TV show from the early 1960s who was black-and-white and appeared to look like a Jack-in-the-Box----no association to the fast-food chain.

He also said he ran across some baseballs and some ball players from that Kevin Costner movie.
So as not to anger David, the owner and operator of this board, Trigger said he's only going to make about one post a week, probably on Saturdays, with little or no responses to other respondents, as that's what seems to make the discussion threads take on a life of their own. The "Authenticity links" will still be there, with a lot of them coming from Mark Dice and that long-haired, foul-mouthed guy in Amsterdam who sometimes makes his videos while he's in a bathrobe. Whatever floats his boat. All of this is subject to change, of course, but at least the attempt will be made.
Sounds to me like it should be interesting. So now the question is: Do you guys think you can handle one post a week from Trigger? Or will you get triggered?
