Interesting, but not surprising, that (1.) the incident involved the Coast Starlight yet they used a picture of a Metrolink train; (2.) they can't seem to differentiate an engineer from a conductor and (3.) the operating crew gets drug tested by management when some dork decides to jump in front of a train.

If a person is hellbent on offing himself, a train is a sure-fire way of doing it.

A train engineer was once quoted in a newspaper article on this subject, saying "I've assisted in more suicides than Dr. Kevorkian."
