Riding the loaded chip cars to Toledo on the 706 one was often brushed by overhanging Doug Fir boughs. Nothing too serious though. Riding down the main once at speed near Shedd, got a wicked hunk of wood chip in my eye. That one hurt. Nicest thing about the chip cars was being able to contour yourself a nice little niche at the corner of the car.
