True.

One of the "Good Guys."

Hired out as a switchman on the LA Division in 1962 and worked his way up to Division Superintendent. He was actively involved representing SP during the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Left SP for APL (I could almost say, "Who didn't?", then BNSF.

Age 77.
