It was on national TV last night

I saw this on NBC or MSNBC last night. Some politician was ranting about the stimulus package and the much pilloried high speed train proposal between LA and Vegas. I'm guessing he thought the Moon Light Bunny Ranch was around Vegas. We always just called it Moon Light. The ranch is near Mound House east of Carson City along Highway 50, a junction on old Virginia & Truckee. A maglev or bullet train from LA to Mound House would be quite an undertaking. When I was pledge marshall at my fraternity at the University of Nevada, Reno (Theta Chi) the pledges kidnapped me one winter night in 1963 or 64 and dumped me off at the ranch. I tried to get the ladies to let me in so I could use their telephone to call a brother for a ride home. No dice. I had to walk all the way from the ranch into Carson City in the cold. I think I finally reached the Nugget Casino in Carson about 3 in the morning. I was one PO'd frat guy. (I got my revenge later. :-)
