Here in the Great Grey Northwest, We the VOTERS Said " NO " to public funding for a new Baseball - only stadium to partially replace Seattle's Kingdome. But the Mariners ( the ONLY MLB team to NEVER make it to the World Series ) cried & whined and threatened to move elsewhere, SOOO then Governor Gregoire overrode the vote and gave a dumptruck full of PUBLIC TAX DOLLARS to build a new 35,000+ seat stadium for a team that draws MAYBE 10,000 fans per game.
Our Tax Dollars at Work... Our Government at it's WORST...
