No, the map isn't wrong. The line was dashed and not reflect an actual line being built. That being said, OE did procure right-of-way in anticipation of extending out to Mac. A small section of street track was constructed by OE which is referenced in one of Ed Austin's books, quite possibly the Red Electrics. I also seem to recall this was in Newberg.
