Not so bad...

Those two parties interested in the remaining corridor will never be able to pull off freight service, so this only pushes back abandonment/railbanking (and trail construction) there a few years, tops.

And remember--the abandoned portion ruled ineligible for railbanking will NEVER see another train movement either, LOL.
