The GN line south of Spokane to near Fairfield was quite spectacular. It featured steep grades that ringed Browne Mountain/ Krell Hill. Then there was the huge trestle over Rock Creek which I would love to see a photo of. Those things which make the railroad scenic, also make it expensive to maintain and operate, hence the trackage rights.
