Skunk gtrade grade approaches 4% on east end near Willits, but "Chiggen" will be on the 3.5 mile section from Ft. Bragg to Glen Blair Jct. There is a westbound grade from M.P. 2 to the graveyard of about a mile, but if you ever saw the video of "Chiggen" with a huge passenger train at Santa Cruz a few years ago you would have no doubts about this little engines ability
to get a couple of cars back to the station.
