Too bad they couldn't keep the road alignment straight. Saw a comment and response about that.

I hate how some of these bridges curve out from the road alignment, do any of you know why they did this?

It lets them build the new embankments and the bridge for the grade separation without having to close the existing alignment to traffic (they're only allowed to close so many roads crossing the alignment at a time), or build a "shoofly" alignment for a few months only to close it again.
