What I'd give to be able to go. Last time I saw life steam in Durand (not GTW 4-6-2 5632, which is stuffed an mounted in a park near the Durand depot) was probably a fantrip with CN 4-8-4 6218 on the head. That would be in the early 70's.

I'm assuming the 4449 will come up through the Columbia Gorge and the Tri-Cities on it's way to Spokane, right? I'm guessing that way, because I live about 100 yards off the BNSF main east of Wenatchee.....
