Descriptions of zombie behavior sounds like drugs. Manufactured chemical drugs must totally short circuit a person's brain. So strange why anyone would consume anything toxic.

Question is, how to deal with the problem in a way that is 1) humane, and 2) does not cost a lot.

If the families of druggies have abandoned them, why should society take care of them?
