Diesel generators are EXPENSIVE to run too.

Another recent headline:
08/04/2022 California scorns fossil fuel but can’t keep the lights on without it

Politicians believe they can solve big problems by waving a magic wand:

"Green energy!"

"Bullet train!"

"Remove dams for salmon!"

"Close nuclear plants!"

Then reality hits and they have to back pedal. If only they listened to engineers before talking.
