Last photo (identified as Kinyon?) is closer to the old Swobe station than anything else. Kinyon is about a mile and a half farther east. The cut the #25 is in marks the western end of a 1959 line relocation that straightened the trackage between there and Kinyon. If you probe off into the woods to the north you can still find the older grade...still has a lot of ties, some telephone poles, the wye, and a lot of large timbers and trash scatters from the small community that used to be at Swobe (railroad section camp and Elkins Cedar Mill sawmill). There used to be a big sawdust pile at Swobe, but when Camp Kinyon opened in 1951 its residents carted the pile off to their new homes in fairly short order.
