Thanks. They give a generic name for the chemical that burned: "vinyl chloride". Google tells me that is a petro-chemical commonly used for making PVC pipe. Do we know anything specific about the customer who was to receive these tank cars?

The "Chernobyl" comparison I heard sounds a tad overblown.
