Amtrak No.7 (10th) Detouring Via Surrey Cutoff

Weather conditions and possible interruptions on BNSF's northern line have forced Amtrak's westbound Empire Builder to jump off its normal course in North Dakota today. Per Amtrak: "We will operate diagonally between FAR and MOT, missing GFK, DVL and RUG, per BNSF and the Surrey Cutoff."

For those unfamiliar, FAR = Fargo, MOT = Minot.
