Here's a photo I took on April 16, 1980, FORTY-THREE years ago, of westbound Train 35, the Desert Wind, running down the middle of Interstate 210, the Foothill Freeway, in Pasadena, CA. The Metro Gold Line runs here today. Santa Fe Railway pocketed a substantial sum of money when they sold this line in the early days of the formation of Metrolink, although this particular segment of the Pasadena Subdivision was not used by Metrolink trains.
