UP train about to turn over a train to the TRONA Railraod at their interchange just south of Ridgecreast at Searles in January 2009. The interesting fact is I am from Illinois and was getting rained out here in an area that only gets 2.6 inches of rain a year. The train comes up from Mojave to interchange with TRONA. It is an old SP branch that now ends just north of this location.
