Colorectal cancer has slowed me down but mostly the downturn of transit going on now reminds me of the postwar disaster and saps my interest. Big drop in patronage means spinning off the expensive infrastructure. And I don't see social conditions turning around. But ever and never are a long, long time.

It is a kick to see Manhattan is sinking under the weight of all the skyrises.
