I’m not a rail worker, but have noticed that older employees complain bitterly about past mergers. Older UP folks say the MOP takeover ruined the UP culture. The older SP folks say the same about the UP takeover. Unfortunately, change is a fact of life, I guess.

Maybe someone will tell a story as suggested above.
