...West Coast port strike talks that went down to the wire, causing diversion of ships to East Coast/Gulf ports. Just as that route was settling into place, the Panama Canal started running out of water, and now has to deal with strikes too, causing shifts back to US & Canadian ports. All of this overlaid on, and locally overriding, a general reduction in traffic due to issues with China and various national economies. In all, it's a mess as usual. But it does seem to have resulted in a recovery in traffic volumes on the railroads out of LA. Any reports from the BNSF up north? CN/CP?
