Quite a few " Keeper " issues of Trains magazine during the 1970's, mostly due to the material submitted by the many great Railfan Photographers of the day. Richard Steinheimer also authored the Tehachapi article, as well as a Cajon Pass article. The magazine would devote an entire issue to Nevada, authored by Ted Benson. His tribute to The Maiden's Grave would turn out to be so much hyperbole, as Lucinda Duncan was actually a 71 year old Grandmother who had died on her way West. Still, having visited The Maiden's Grave in Beowawe, I have it on my list of Places I would like a few of my asses scattered when my time on earth is through. Cajon, Tehachapi, & Donner Pass are also on my list.
