CEECo = Coast Engine and Equipment Company. Purchased by Dennis Washington after the Morrison Knutson bankruptcy judge blocked him from buying all of MK forcing him to choose between the
consctruction arm and the locomotive shops. He chose to add the construction business to his
construction business and went for CEECo for heavy engine work and painting for MRL and for
his Livingston Rebuild Center holdings. Locomotive rebuilding market got soft and LRC was shut down and eventually he sold CEECo. MRL switched to POVA for it's locomotive painting and
did remaining heavy work in house. CEECo was founded to service marine engines.
