So is this the common sense connector to a Antelope Line station, or still wasting billions on an underground detour to the airport?

I am hopeful they wised up and will build an affordable connector to an HSR station on the existing Antelope Valley line. Previously they insisted on wasting billions on a multi-mile tunnel detour to a station right next to the future airport terminal. First class but even California doesn't have that kind of money these days.

Moving sidewalk or automated people mover is good enough.
