"2023 was a big year for American High Speed Rail as the country dug its way out of COVID and multiple HSR projects gained traction. It may not seem like it, but we may be on the cusp of something big in this country as HSR as concept catches on between major metro pairs. This review covers all the places where the process was active and ongoing in 2023. West to east those are: Cascadia Ultra High Speed Ground Transportation, California High Speed Rail, Brightline West, Texas Central Railroad, Dallas Fort Worth High Speed Transportation, Kansas City Airport to Downtown Connector, Chicago Hub Network, Tennessee Intercity Passenger Rail, Brightline Florida, Northeast Maglev, the Northeast Corridor and Amtrak Acela Service. I will let you in on everything pertinent that happened with each throughout the year. I will also speculate what 2024 could bring for each project."
