I’m into this video about five minutes. Reminds me of the Mexico branchline photos posted here by DB Arthur
“Mexicos abandoned branch lines” Cvision vid.

There were so many branch lines in Mexico that died when NdeM went out of existence. I wish I had paid about ten additional visits down there to ride and photograph them all. Of the lines Dan Handley covered in his videos, I covered the line from Durango to Purisima and then went to Regocijo instead of El Salto (Asseraderos), Durango to Tepehuanes and the Tampico-San Luis Potosi line, which is still operated by KCSdeM. I missed the narrow gauge line to Tezuitlan by a few years. These was still some rolling stock and dual gauge track in Oriental when I visited.
Here's another video Dan Handley has of Mexican railroading:

A good friend of mine, Keith White, is, like me, a retired rail and "mileage collector" and he traveled in Mexico a lot more extensively than I did. Here's a map of everywhere he went. I've been suggesting to him that he should buy a scanner and post some of his photos on the Internet.
