I'm so sorry to get you all riled up like that so early on a Sunday morning...
Yep, when folks have monopolies, as Adam Smith liked to point out, there are quite often many more opportunities to "milk" the customers, suppliers, contractors and employees, of a bigger share of the profits than companies would generally receive in am truly competive open and free market situation...
I'm just posting a story about the AP's take on the current situation facing the large RR's, shippers, consumers, and employee's in today's post merger highly concentrated rail industry.
So other that getting you all riled up about my posting this story, what's your angle or take on the current state of the rail industry?
