Brightline Vegas - Not gonna be cheap

Someone give Bob2’s recliner a good kick….

Behind the LA Times paywall, I guess the BL folks said a ticket would be around $400, which is probably for peak travel (Friday-Sunday.). Who knows at this point.

While $400 caught me off guard, I know regardless of what they charge, anyone heading to Vegas for weekend, especially a holiday, will consider the train.

Maybe BL can have a seniors/railfan car with narrow, hard seats for our friends over at that other website? Only a matter of time before the complaining starts.

According to the Las Vegas Journal, BL has released their initial construction schedule with core boring work set for several locations this month. I must admit, this is very good news since I was falling in the trap with the naysayers.

I know I will ride it at least once… I was a big fan of the slow as mud train…. The Desert Wind.
