Weather once again strikes in Colorado along with something else, derailment, rocks, etc.

Same thing happened recently with the holy grail, VIA’s twice week Canadian.

Both cancelled trains and both did not offer alternative travel…… which absolutely sucks for anyone aboard. (Happened to me on the Canadian btw)

So….. recently happens to Amtrak and VIA. Very little commentary by the usual suspects about the Holy Grail train. Amtrak’s daily California Zephyr? Holy crap the entire Seniors Assisted Living crowd added their two cents about how things were done in their wildest fantasies in 1952. Never to disappoint, our resident idiot from UPS in Flagstaff chimed in, not once but twice. That clown runs Amtrak into the ground several times a day then whines that he has been unable to secure a career with them. Would you hire someone like that?

The passenger board is always a source of entertainment from me. Since it’s not steam related, that friendly chap, Wes is unable to hijack the thread with a chapter out of his latest book.
