The big picture: The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said Resendo Tellez, 27, was arrested on Friday following a train collision.

A pedestrian was hit by a train at the Amtrak Station in Wasco.
According to KBAK, Tellez was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants and for taking evidence from the scene.
He is charged with removing or mutilating human remains.
