Carol your right, Xprss would not be MagLev. And, trolling is a fair statement. But, it is a firm that has actually done several very successful lines using public/private partnerships. And, they are not putting in a sou, either, if they can't make it work.

The private sector can make that part of a "PPP" project work, cost wise and operationally, but it don't work just from Victorville, only from the LA basin. Most of these firms have little stomach for pouring baskets of money down the drain facing off for years against urban nimby's, and possibly exhorbitant urban construction costs. That is why this will work to bring them in as real private investment partner, if there is a competent public partner.
