Extremely Stupid, Hokey & Unrealistic Railroad Themed Movies On DVD

I ran across a person who is selling DVDs over the Internet of certain long-forgotten made-for-TV movies, some of which contain railroad themes. The ones I noticed are:

"Panic on the 5:22" First Aired on ABC 11/20/74 Terror rides a private railroad car where passengers have only their wits as weapons against three armed men determined to rob and kill them. Starring Lynda Day George

"Disaster on the Coastliner" First Aired on ABC 10/28/79 A deranged engineer bent on revenge for the death of his wife and daughter, sets two passenger trains on a collision course and con man (Mike Connons) put his life on the line to ward off the crash. Also starring Lloyd Bridges, Raymond Burr, William Shatner, Robert Fuller, E.G. Marshall and Yvette Mimieux. (Picture Quality 7-7.5)

"Runaway" aka "The Runaway Train" - 1973 A group of skiers are trapped inside a runaway trainhurtling down a mountainside. Starring Ben Johnson, Martin Milner, Vera Miles & Ed Nelson.

If you choose to buy any of these, keep in mind that:

(1.) Realism should be tossed out the window. Don't expect these movies to have any semblance of true-to-life railroading, and, in some cases, their plots are a real challenge to stomach.

(2.) The qualiity of these movies may not be anything to write home about. The woman who runs this business has a disclaimer warning you of such.

"Runaway" may be the best (or, rather, least offensive and obnoxious?) of the three, since it includes the now defunct Rio Grande Ski Train, with the ex-NP cars, and lots of helicopter aerial shots on the Front Range.

While not railroad-related, another interesting one they're offering is:

"Terror in the Sky" First Aired on CBS 9/17/71 The crew and passengers of an airliner in flight are stricken by food poisoning and are now at the hands of a washed-up helicopter pilot on board and a stewardess to land the plane safely. Starring Doug Mcclure, Lois Nettleton and Roddy McDowall

This was the dramatic, hoaky and obnoxious movie that the Zucker Brothers based their comedy "Airplane!" on. You probably noticed the plot similarities.
