The human element.

What's wrong with having the human element in a train picture occasionally? Is this train a drone being remote controlled from some remote location or runs itself? This picture shows two crew members (or a guest)enjoying the ride and I can literally feel the heat from the hot boiler and firebox as I look at the two in the cab window enjoying the cool outside breeze and watching the side rods gallop up and down directly under them. Without people, steam locomotives cant run. And without railfans, there's no reason to run them anyway. Some of my favorite train photos have a human element involved. However, if its a crewmember giving the middle finger or a B.A. to the photographer then that's a different matter.
