This is wasted money.

Do you realize the Amtrak Police Department is a complete joke?

There were Amtrak employees at the 8th Street Yard in L.A. stealing equipment and they walked right past the on-duty officers while committing their crimes. The Amtrak cops greeted them and didn't even question what they were doing.
