Why Excursions Are Few And Far Between

Here’s a couple of photos, courtesy of Stephen Rees, taken of the Royal Hudson this weekend on some trips it made out of New Westminster on the Southern Railway of British Columbia.

Notice how close some of these people are to the right-of-way; in some cases, they’re standing right on it. Stephen said the engine crew was a little upset that these fans were placing photo composition ahead of safety.

In my opinion, the guy in the black vest and blue pants on the right is way too close to the track.

Come on people. Police yourselves.
