Similar on SacRT light rail. The trains get a little crowded around commute times, but not packed standing like they used to be, and usually only 2 cars instead of the 4 they ran at peak hours pre-Covid. Buses actually get used at off hours too, though the difference in ridership is more noticeable.
The "SmaRTride" on-call local buses (daytime only; not practical for normal commute trips), though, are less convenient than they used to be; service zone for Folsom and Citrus Heights was recently extended to Roseville's big transit center, so typical waits for a ride are now around 40-60 minutes rather than the 20-30 they used to be with service strictly local and to light rail. Plan ahead ... and if you're rich Lyft still serves the area (Uber's harder to get).
