Provided I don't keel over tomorrow from a heart attack or some other medical condition, it looks like, AFTER FIFTY-THREE YEARS, I will FINALLY be able to say I've ridden almost all of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad.

In case anyone's interested, here are the line segments and the dates of what I've ridden so far:

20190505 San Rafael, CA - Sonoma County Airport, CA SMART 41.5 miles

19961005 Willits, CA - Healdsburg, CA special excursion 71.5 miles

19710405 Willits, CA - Eureka, CA NWP "Redwood" RDC 144.6 miles

I still "need" to get the 2.1 miles from San Rafael to Larkspur, and that could possibly be extended to the ferry terminal.

Next up will be the mileage from Ignacio to Sears Point. On 20130623 I rode the last of those special trains from Sacramento to the NASCAR race track. Doesn't look like I'll ever get the branches to Carlotta and Samoa.

Something only a railroad "mileage collector" can appreciate and relate to!
