The other day someone asked about the 844 west of Portola. Well, here are some shots near Ogden and in Weber Canyon. They are not as good as some others posted here, but here they are.

I must say, there were far too many foamers out today in Weber. Trying to get ahead of the train was nearly impossible, with cars pacing the train along both lanes of I-84, blocking everyone else. To say the least, there were some pretty annoyed truckers out. In addition, people were all over the tracks, not paying attention to any other traffic besides the 844. On the radio, the dispatcher had to warn the 844 about people on the tracks and had them slow down for safety. They also would step right in front of your shot.
