It's too bad, because the motorcycle driver and the idiots who lifted the gates are the ones with the defective gene for stupidity.
I have a local councilman who started ranting and raving about speed after a motorcycle accident on a local street recently.
I left his thesis in shambles when I pointed out that up to 50% of motorcycles are legally DUI at the time of death, regardless of other contributory factors.
The accident in question, was the result of an unsafe turning movement, not speed.
But have facts recently been able to keep politicians from to coming to the conclusions they are promoting much lately?
The warning devices are only as good as the receptors in our frontal lobes are able to process them. So how messed up this crew of dumb asses is another factor to consider.
Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest got the wrong victim to cull from the gene pool on this one.
