UP 844 has never been retired until I got a hold of it! I personally flattened the drivers, overheated a main rod brass, gave her a bellyful of mud, warped the firebox sheets by firing her with diesel fuel, re-plumbed the wilson separator as I'm God and know better than what Alco or Otto knows! My proof is that she now sits in Chiyane and hasn't been out in over 5 years!
