They come from an oil field between San Ardo and Bradley, north of Camp Roberts. The field and the "filling station" are southeast of the Los Lobos Road interchange on US 101. The trains roll south to a refinery in Wimington one to three times a week. Unfortunately, this is soon to end, as Chevron is planning to build a heated petroleum pipeline from this field to the Central Valley to tie in with its pipeline there. It's at 35.948732° -120.871274°.
