When I looked over one of the prototype units I questioned one of the sales engineers about the hydraulic transmission. He said that it was made in Germany and was the heaviest (beefiest) transmission on the market and that it cost MORE than the Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine that was driving it. One engine with transmission drove each truck under the car.
