From what I've seen, the rides were all carnival style rides, with the exception of the two trains, and they could easily be reinstalled at a reasonable cost. I doubt the train tracks have been removed, so that would also be easy.
However, Graceland and Neverland are both well known, but while Graceland is famous, Neverland is Infamous. Consider what the place is best known for. Now ask yourself is that's someplace you'd take your kids?
"Mommy, why did MJ build this place?"
"He built it so that he could... uh, never mind about that little Johnny. Say, how about we go visit Magic Mountain instead?"
