Just saw this
per trainorders western board,
GM is pulling out of Californias last auto assembly plant. The move could affect the Fremont plants 5500 workers, and more than 20,000 suppliers. Luckily for the workers sake Toyota which shared the plant with GM says their sticking around for the time being. This move also affects the Union Pacific railroad because there is a railyard in Milpitas next to the plant. Vehicles produced there are the Pontiac Vibe, Corolla and Tacoma truck.
