Thank you VERY much for that report on our beloved AMTK 48.
This was the LEAD unit (AMTK 122 trailing) on our legendary David Gunn Tehachapi Coast Starlight of Oct 23, 2005.
That train was probably the MOST HISTORIC because it will probably be the ONLY revenue passenger train to completely NON STOP the Fresno area (non high speed rail).
Not many people realize that that was the historic high point for that train.
