The KO sub in North Dakota would provide some rare passenger/steam mileage. This line has not seen regular passenger service since the Great Northern dropped the “Western Star’ in 1971. If anyone is photographing in this area, a great shot of the consist crossing the Karnak/Luverne trestle could be taken from Lake Ashtabula.
