We're talking about people who call fighter aircraft "fighter jets", even though the word "jet" should be used as an adjective and not as the subject! (Not to mention the fact that all combat aircraft built in service today are jet-propelled, so using th term "jet" is redundant and unnecessary; needless to say, news editors these days are friggin' idiots!)
